Opening Reception for the American Negro Exhibition 2.5.15

This event is the Opening Reception for the African-American Cultural Center’s latest exhibition, “American Negro Exhibition,” which focuses on the American Negro Exposition that took place in Chicago in 1940. Curated by our Graduate Assistant, Jacqueline Y. Smith, the American Negro Exhibition celebrates the diamond jubilee of African-American achievements from the abolition of slavery to 1940.
